Ingredients

Tea Base
  • 4 cups Water Filtered water recommended
  • 4 tea bags Black Tea Or 4 tsp loose leaf tea
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or Simple Syrup Adjust to taste
Flavoring & Garnish
  • 2 teaspoons Orange Blossom Water Crucial for authentic flavor
  • 1 large Orange Sliced thinly for garnish
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes

Method

Instructions
  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Remove the water from the heat immediately. Add the black tea bags (or loose leaf tea in an infuser) and steep for 4-5 minutes. Do not over-steep to avoid bitterness.
  3. Remove the tea bags/infuser. While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey or simple syrup until fully dissolved.
  4. Allow the tea concentrate to cool to room temperature, then stir in the 2 teaspoons of orange blossom water.
  5. Divide the ice cubes evenly among four tall glasses. Pour the cooled, flavored tea concentrate over the ice.
  6. Garnish each glass with thin slices of fresh orange before serving immediately.

Notes

For a stronger brew, use less water initially and dilute with cold water after cooling. Orange blossom water is potent; start with 1.5 teaspoons and taste test before adding the full 2 teaspoons.
