Ingredients

  • 1 cup Keurig-brewed coffee medium or dark roast recommended
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce store-bought or homemade, plus extra for topping
  • whipped cream for topping (optional)
  • pinch pinch sea salt optional, for salted caramel

Equipment

  • Keurig machine
  • Coffee mug

Method

  1. Start by brewing a fresh cup of your preferred coffee using your Keurig machine. A medium or dark roast often provides a bolder base that stands up well to the sweetness of the syrups.
    1 cup Keurig-brewed coffee
  2. In your coffee mug, add the heavy cream, vanilla syrup, and caramel sauce. If you're feeling adventurous and want a salted caramel twist, add a small pinch of sea salt at this stage.
2 tablespoons heavy cream, 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup, 1 tablespoon caramel sauce, pinch pinch sea salt
  3. Gently stir the cream and syrups together until they are well incorporated. This will help create a smooth foundation for your latte.
  4. Carefully pour your freshly brewed hot coffee into the mug with the cream and syrup mixture.
    1 cup Keurig-brewed coffee
  5. Stir the contents of the mug thoroughly to ensure the syrups and cream are evenly distributed throughout the coffee. This will create a cohesive and flavorful drink.
  6. If desired, top your Vanilla Caramel Swirl Latte with a generous swirl of whipped cream. Drizzle a little extra caramel sauce over the whipped cream for an extra decadent touch. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and gently reheated on the stovetop or in the microwave.
