- In a medium bowl, combine the salmon cubes, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. - Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the seasoned salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding the basket; cook in batches if necessary to ensure even cooking and crisping.
- Air fry for 6-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The exact time will depend on the size of your salmon cubes and your air fryer model.
- While the salmon is cooking, prepare the slaw. - Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture. Toss gently until all the vegetables are evenly coated with the zesty dressing.
- Let the slaw sit for at least 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the vegetables to slightly soften.
- Warm the tortillas according to package instructions. This can be done in a dry skillet, in the microwave, or briefly in the air fryer.8-12 small corn or flour tortillas
- Flake the cooked air fryer salmon into bite-sized pieces.
- To assemble each taco, spoon a generous portion of the zesty slaw onto a warm tortilla.
- Top the slaw with the flaked air fryer salmon.
- Add your favorite optional toppings, such as avocado slices, pico de gallo, a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.Optional Toppings
Notes
The slaw is best served cold and does not require reheating. It is best to prepare this dish for immediate consumption to enjoy its best quality. This recipe is not ideal for freezing.
