Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
- In a large bowl, toss the uncooked tortellini with the olive oil until they are lightly coated on all sides.
- In a small separate bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the oiled tortellini and toss thoroughly until every piece is evenly coated with the cheese mixture.
- Spread the coated tortellini in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Ensure they are not overcrowded to achieve maximum crispiness.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring gently halfway through, until the tortellini are golden brown, slightly puffed, and crispy on the edges.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving immediately alongside the warmed marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
These are best served immediately out of the oven. For extra zest, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix. Ensure tortellini are fully dry after coating for the best crunch.
