Ingredients

For the Passion Tea Concentrate
  • 4 tea bags Passion Herbal Tea Or 2 tablespoons loose leaf tea
  • 2 cups Boiling Water
  • 1/4 cup Simple Syrup (or adjust to taste)
For the Lemonade Base
  • 1 cup Fresh Lemon Juice About 4-5 lemons
  • 3 cups Cold Water
  • 1/2 cup Simple Syrup (or to taste)
For Serving
  • As needed Ice
  • 4 slices Lemon For garnish

Method

Instructions
  1. Prepare the Passion Tea Concentrate: Place the passion tea bags into a heatproof pitcher or bowl. Pour 2 cups of boiling water over the tea bags.
  2. Steep the tea for 5-7 minutes, depending on desired strength. Remove the tea bags, squeezing out excess liquid gently. Stir in 1/4 cup of simple syrup while the tea is still warm to ensure it dissolves completely.
  3. Prepare the Lemonade Base: In a separate large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice, 3 cups of cold water, and the remaining 1/2 cup of simple syrup. Stir well.
  4. Combine the Tea and Lemonade: Pour the cooled passion tea concentrate into the lemonade base pitcher. Stir thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed.
  5. Taste and Adjust Sweetness: Taste the mixture. Add more simple syrup if needed for increased sweetness, or a splash more lemon juice for extra tartness.
  6. Serve: Fill four tall glasses with ice. Pour the Passion Tea Lemonade over the ice. Garnish each serving with a fresh lemon slice and serve immediately.

Notes

If you prefer a clearer look, you can cold brew the tea concentrate in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours instead of using boiling water. For an extra tropical kick, consider mixing in 1/4 cup of pure passion fruit puree.
