- Prepare the Passion Tea Concentrate: Place the passion tea bags into a heatproof pitcher or bowl. Pour 2 cups of boiling water over the tea bags.
- Steep the tea for 5-7 minutes, depending on desired strength. Remove the tea bags, squeezing out excess liquid gently. Stir in 1/4 cup of simple syrup while the tea is still warm to ensure it dissolves completely.
- Prepare the Lemonade Base: In a separate large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice, 3 cups of cold water, and the remaining 1/2 cup of simple syrup. Stir well.
- Combine the Tea and Lemonade: Pour the cooled passion tea concentrate into the lemonade base pitcher. Stir thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Taste and Adjust Sweetness: Taste the mixture. Add more simple syrup if needed for increased sweetness, or a splash more lemon juice for extra tartness.
- Serve: Fill four tall glasses with ice. Pour the Passion Tea Lemonade over the ice. Garnish each serving with a fresh lemon slice and serve immediately.
Notes
If you prefer a clearer look, you can cold brew the tea concentrate in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours instead of using boiling water. For an extra tropical kick, consider mixing in 1/4 cup of pure passion fruit puree.
