- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer.
- Gradually beat in the sifted powdered sugar until fully incorporated. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no streaks remain. Be careful not to overmix.
- Take 1 cup of the crushed Oreos and gently fold them into the cream cheese mixture until just combined.
- Transfer the dip into a serving bowl. Top with the remaining crushed Oreos. If using, drizzle with melted fudge creme filling.
- Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving with graham crackers, apple slices, or vanilla wafers.
Notes
For a slightly lighter texture, you can substitute half of the whipped topping with Greek yogurt. Ensure the cream cheese is truly room temperature to avoid lumps.
