Instructions
- Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and well incorporated.
- Add the dry ranch seasoning mix and Worcestershire sauce to the bowl. Mix thoroughly until the seasoning is evenly distributed throughout the cream cheese base.
- Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and chopped green onions. Mix just enough to combine them without breaking down the structure of the dip too much.
- Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to 4 hours) to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Before serving, transfer the chilled dip to a decorative serving bowl. Sprinkle the toasted, chopped pecans over the top for garnish and added crunch.
- Serve immediately with sturdy crackers, potato chips, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetable sticks like carrots and celery.
Notes
If preparing more than 4 hours in advance, reserve half the bacon and green onions to mix in right before serving for maximum freshness. This dip tastes best when thoroughly chilled.
