Instructions
- Prepare the honeydew melon by cutting it in half, scooping out the seeds, and cubing the flesh into bite-sized pieces. Place the melon cubes into a large mixing bowl.
- Peel the kiwi fruits using a vegetable peeler or a knife, then slice them into rounds or half-moons. Add the kiwi slices to the bowl with the honeydew.
- Prepare the remaining fruit: Halve the grapes and gently rinse the blueberries. Add the grapes and blueberries to the bowl.
- If preparing the optional light dressing, whisk together the fresh lime juice and honey (or maple syrup) in a small bowl until well combined.
- Gently pour the lime-honey dressing over the fruit mixture. Toss carefully using two large rubber spatulas to coat the fruit evenly without bruising the delicate melon or kiwi.
- Serve immediately in individual bowls, or cover and chill in the refrigerator for up to 1 hour before serving for extra refreshment.
Notes
For an added texture contrast, consider adding 2 tablespoons of toasted shaved almonds right before serving. This bowl is best assembled and eaten the same day for peak freshness.
