Method

  1. Have all your measured ingredients ready for easy assembly. This includes your Greek yogurt, natural peanut butter, sweetener of choice (maple syrup or honey), vanilla extract, and optional pinch of salt.
1 cup plain Greek yogurt, 4 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter, 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 pinch salt
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, add the entire cup of plain Greek yogurt. Spoon in the 4 tablespoons of natural creamy peanut butter.
1 cup plain Greek yogurt, 4 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter
  3. Drizzle in the 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey. Add the 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. If your peanut butter is unsalted, you might want to add a tiny pinch of salt at this stage to enhance the flavors.
2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 pinch salt
  4. Using a whisk or a fork, thoroughly combine all the ingredients. Stir vigorously until the peanut butter is completely incorporated into the yogurt, and the mixture is smooth, creamy, and uniform in color. There should be no streaks of peanut butter or yogurt left.
  5. Dip a clean spoon into the dip and taste it. If you prefer it a little sweeter, add another teaspoon of maple syrup or honey. If the peanut butter flavor needs a boost, add another teaspoon of peanut butter. Mix again to ensure any additions are fully incorporated.

  6. The Healthy Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip is ready to be served immediately. For a slightly firmer consistency and to allow the flavors to meld, you can cover the bowl and refrigerate it for at least 15-30 minutes before serving.
