- Prepare all diced ingredients: mango, strawberries, avocado, red onion, and jalapeño. Place them gently into a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the fresh lime juice, honey (if using), salt, and black pepper until fully combined.
- Pour the lime dressing evenly over the diced fruit and vegetables in the mixing bowl.
- Add the chopped fresh cilantro to the mixture. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold all ingredients together until they are evenly distributed. Be careful not to mash the avocado.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salsa for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Taste before serving and adjust salt or lime juice as needed.
- Serve chilled with tortilla chips, or as a topping for grilled white fish or chicken breasts.
Notes
For the best texture, dice the avocado immediately before assembling the salsa to prevent browning. If making ahead of time, add the avocado about 30 minutes before serving.
