Ingredients

Shrimp & Coating
  • 1 lb Large Shrimp Peeled and deveined, tail on or off
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated
  • 1 tsp Dried Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Optional
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish
  • 1 lemon Lemon Wedges For serving

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted butter mixture over the shrimp and toss until every piece is evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the coated shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  5. Roast the shrimp for 7 to 9 minutes, depending on size. The shrimp should curl into a 'C' shape and turn opaque pink. Do not overcook.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the hot shrimp, allowing it to melt slightly. Return to the oven for 1-2 minutes, just until the cheese begins to brown lightly at the edges.
  7. Garnish immediately with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot with fresh lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

For a spicier kick, increase the red pepper flakes to 1/2 teaspoon. This dish pairs wonderfully with a side of pasta tossed in olive oil or a crisp green salad.
