Ingredients

For the Fruit Salad
  • 1 cup Strawberries hulled and quartered
  • 1 cup Blueberries
  • 2 cups Pineapple cubed
  • 2 cups Cantaloupe cubed
  • 2 cups Green Grapes halved
  • 2 large Kiwi peeled and sliced
For the Honey Lime Dressing
  • 1/4 cup Lime Juice freshly squeezed
  • 3 tablespoons Honey or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Lime Zest

Method

Instructions
  1. Prepare all the fruit: wash, hull, peel, and chop them according to the notes provided. Place all the prepared fruit into a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a small separate bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients: lime juice, honey, and lime zest until the honey is fully dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
  3. Gently pour the honey lime dressing over the mixed fruit in the large bowl.
  4. Using a large spatula or spoon, gently fold the fruit to ensure every piece is lightly coated with the dressing. Be careful not to mash the softer fruits.
  5. For best flavor, cover the fruit salad and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Give the salad one final gentle toss right before serving. Garnish with an optional sprig of mint if desired.

Notes

This salad is best eaten the same day it is made for optimal freshness. If making ahead, store harder fruits (like pineapple and melon) separately and mix with berries just before serving.
