Ingredients

Fresh Fruits
  • 2 cups Strawberries Halved or sliced
  • 1 pint Blueberries
  • 2 cups Green Grapes Left on the vine for visual appeal
  • 2 cups Red Grapes Left on the vine
  • 2 medium Kiwi Peeled and sliced into rounds
  • 1 whole Pineapple Cut into spears or small chunks
  • 2 medium Oranges Sliced thinly
Accompaniments
  • 4 oz Brie Cheese Cut into small wedges
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese Log Plain or honey-flavored
  • 1/2 cup Spiced Pecans Or use salted almonds
  • 1/4 cup Honey For drizzling
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Mint Leaves For garnish

Method

Instructions
  1. Wash and thoroughly dry all fruits. Prepare the fruits by slicing strawberries, peeling and slicing kiwi, and cutting the pineapple into manageable, attractive shapes.
  2. Select a large wooden board, platter, or slate to serve as your canvas. Begin by placing the larger elements, such as the cheese wedges and the clumps of grapes, strategically around the board to create anchor points.
  3. Arrange the softer fruits, like the sliced kiwi and oranges, near the cheeses. Use small ramekins or bowls for the blueberries to keep them contained, placing them in open spaces.
  4. Fill in the remaining gaps with the strawberries and pineapple chunks, focusing on creating contrasting color sections (e.g., grouping red next to green).
  5. Place the spiced pecans in small piles or sprinkle them lightly into empty corners. If using a goat cheese log, you can roll it in chopped nuts before placing it on the board.
  6. Just before serving, drizzle the honey lightly over the brie and a few clusters of grapes. Garnish the entire board with fresh mint leaves for an added pop of color and aroma.

Notes

The key to a beautiful fruit charcuterie board is color variation and texture. Feel free to substitute seasonal fruits like figs, raspberries, starfruit, or mango. This board pairs excellently with sparkling wine or a light rosé.
