Ingredients

  • 1 package (12 count) Frozen Rhodes Cinnamon Rolls do not thaw
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup Light brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Milk (or half-and-half for richer frosting)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract optional, for frosting

Equipment

  • Oven
  • 9x13 inch baking dish
  • Small Bowl

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Carefully remove the frozen cinnamon rolls from their packaging and place them in the prepared baking dish. Ensure there is a little space between each roll, as they will expand as they bake.

  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, light brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Stir until well combined.
1/4 cup Unsalted butter, 1/4 cup Light brown sugar, 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  4. Evenly drizzle and spread the cinnamon sugar mixture over the tops of the frozen cinnamon rolls. Be sure to get some of the gooey topping on each one!
  5. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through. The exact baking time may vary depending on your oven and how spread out the rolls are.
  6. While the cinnamon rolls are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth and creamy. If using, stir in the vanilla extract. If the glaze is too thick, add a tiny bit more milk, a teaspoon at a time, until it reaches your desired consistency. If it’s too thin, add a little more powdered sugar.
1/4 cup Powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons Milk, 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  7. Once the cinnamon rolls are out of the oven, let them cool in the baking dish for about 5 minutes. Then, drizzle the prepared glaze generously over the warm rolls. The warmth of the rolls will help the glaze melt slightly and create a wonderfully gooey layer.
  8. Serve the warm cinnamon rolls immediately and enjoy the incredible aroma and taste!
