Ingredients

For the Sliders
  • 12 count Hawaiian Sweet Rolls or Slider Buns About 1 package (12 count)
  • 1 lb Deli Roast Beef Thinly sliced
  • 8 slices Provolone Cheese Or Swiss cheese
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Onion Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Dried Thyme
For the Au Jus
  • 2 cups Beef Broth Low sodium preferred
  • 1 tbsp Beef Bouillon Paste or Powder Optional, for deeper flavor
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the au jus: In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, bouillon (if using), soy sauce, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the bouillon dissolves. Keep warm over low heat.
  3. Slice the slider rolls horizontally in one piece, keeping the tops and bottoms together. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Layer the roast beef evenly over the bottom buns. Top the beef with the provolone cheese slices, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese and beef. In a small bowl, melt the butter and whisk in the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme.
  6. Brush the melted herb butter mixture generously over the tops of the slider buns.
  7. Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes to allow the cheese to melt and the filling to heat through.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until the tops are lightly golden brown and crisp. Slice the entire batch into individual sliders.
  9. Serve immediately. Place the sliders on a serving platter alongside a small bowl of the warm au jus for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can sauté a thin layer of caramelized onions and layer them under the cheese. If you prefer a richer au jus, use beef consommé instead of plain broth.
