  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley for garnish, optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a medium-sized baking dish (approximately 8x8 inches or a similar oval dish) with butter or cooking spray. This prevents sticking and ensures easy serving.

  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the softened cream cheese and stir continuously until it’s smooth and fully incorporated into the butter. This will form the rich base of your sauce.

  6. Sprinkle the 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and the 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole. This will create a delicious, gooey, and golden-brown cheesy topping as it bakes.
