Ingredients

For the Latte
  • 1 bag Earl Grey Tea High quality recommended
  • 8 oz Milk Dairy, almond, or oat milk work well
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract or Syrup Use syrup for sweeter results
  • 4 oz Hot Water Just below boiling
  • 1-2 tsp Sugar or Sweetener Optional, adjust to taste

Method

Instructions
  1. Steep the Earl Grey tea bag in 4 oz of hot water for 4 to 5 minutes to create a strong concentrate. Remove the tea bag.
  2. While the tea is steeping, warm the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat, whisking constantly until hot and slightly frothy (do not boil).
  3. If using a frother, froth the warm milk until light and airy. If not using a frother, whisk vigorously for 30 seconds to create foam.
  4. Add the vanilla extract or syrup and any optional sweetener into the brewed tea concentrate. Stir well to combine.
  5. Pour the sweetened tea concentrate into your favorite mug.
  6. Slowly pour the steamed milk over the tea, holding back the foam initially with a spoon.
  7. Top the latte with the remaining milk foam. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a traditional London Fog, ensure the vanilla flavor is prominent. Using oat milk tends to yield the creamiest result.
