- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Ensure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature.8 ounce cream cheese, softened
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix everything together until it's well incorporated and forms a creamy, cohesive base.8 ounce cream cheese, softened, 1 ounce packet ranch seasoning mix, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- Gently fold in most of the crumbled, crispy bacon and the shredded cheddar cheese. Reserve a small amount of both the bacon and cheese for topping later. Ensure the bacon and cheese are evenly distributed throughout the creamy mixture.4-6 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Spoon the dip mixture into a small oven-safe baking dish or an attractive gratin dish. Smooth the top with the back of your spoon or spatula so it has an even surface.
- Sprinkle the reserved crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the dip. Place the dish in the preheated oven.4-6 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the dip is heated through, the cheese on top is melted and lightly golden brown, and the edges are gently bubbling.
- Once out of the oven, let the Easy High-Protein Crack Dip cool slightly for a few minutes. If desired, garnish with thinly sliced green onions for a fresh pop of color and flavor. Serve warm with your favorite dippers.1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions (scallions)
