Method
- Brew your coffee. For the best flavor, use strongly brewed coffee, as the ice will dilute it. Let it cool completely in the refrigerator. You can even brew it the night before to save time in the morning.
- In a blender, combine the chilled brewed coffee, milk, chocolate syrup, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Ensure all your liquid ingredients are cold to help achieve the best frozen texture.1.5 cups strong brewed coffee, chilled, 0.5 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy like almond, oat, or soy), 0.25 cup chocolate syrup, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Add the ice cubes to the blender. The amount of ice can be adjusted based on your desired thickness. For an extra thick and frosty drink, you can add a little more ice.2 cups ice cubes
- Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and all the ice has been crushed. You should achieve a slushy, uniform consistency. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a splash more milk; if it's too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend again.
- Once perfectly blended, carefully pour the Easy Frozen Mocha Coffee into your serving glass.
- For an extra special treat, top with a generous swirl of whipped cream and a sprinkle of chocolate shavings or cocoa powder. Enjoy immediately!Whipped cream and chocolate shavings, for topping
Notes
Best enjoyed immediately after blending. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and may require stirring or re-blending. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays or shallow containers and re-blend with a splash of milk or coffee.
