- Start by brewing your coffee or espresso as you normally would. Make sure it's strong enough to stand up to the other flavors. Allow it to cool completely to room temperature, or even better, chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This is crucial to prevent your ice from melting too quickly and diluting the latte.
- Grab your favorite tall glasses for serving. This recipe is designed to make two lattes, so grab two glasses.
- In a small bowl or a cocktail shaker, add the chilled coffee or espresso, milk, chocolate syrup, marshmallow fluff (or syrup), and vanilla extract.1.5 cups strong brewed coffee or espresso, chilled, 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy of your choice, such as almond, oat, or soy), 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup, 1 tablespoon marshmallow fluff or marshmallow syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Whisk or shake the ingredients vigorously until they are thoroughly combined and the marshmallow fluff has dissolved into the liquid. If using marshmallow syrup, a gentle stir will suffice.
- Fill your prepared glasses generously with ice cubes.Ice cubes
- Slowly pour the mixed latte base over the ice in each glass, dividing it evenly between the two.
- Crown each latte with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle the crushed graham crackers over the whipped cream, mimicking the sandy texture of graham crackers from a s'more. Finish with a final drizzle of chocolate syrup. If you have them, a few mini marshmallows scattered on top add an extra touch of s'mores authenticity. Serve immediately and revel in your homemade creation!Whipped cream, for topping, Crushed graham crackers, for topping, A drizzle of chocolate syrup, for topping, Mini marshmallows (optional), for topping
Notes
Best enjoyed immediately. Store un-topped base in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Do not reheat or freeze.
