- Slice the English cucumbers into uniform 1/4-inch thick rounds and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes and the drained fresh mozzarella pearls to the bowl with the cucumbers.
- Gently toss the cucumber, tomato, and mozzarella mixture until evenly distributed.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Drizzle this mixture over the salad and toss lightly to coat all ingredients.
- Arrange the salad mixture artfully on a serving platter or individual plates. Scatter the fresh basil leaves over the top.
- Finish by carefully drizzling the balsamic glaze over the entire salad just before serving. Serve immediately for the best texture.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality olive oil and very fresh mozzarella. If you don't have balsamic glaze, you can easily make it by simmering balsamic vinegar until it reduces by half and thickens.
