Ingredients

For the Latte
  • 1 cup Apple Cider Unfiltered preferred
  • 1 bag Chai Tea Bag Strong black tea blend
  • 1/2 cup Milk Dairy or non-dairy (e.g., Oat milk)
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup Or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
For Garnish (Optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Whipped Cream
  • Pinch Nutmeg Freshly grated

Method

Instructions
  1. Heat the apple cider and milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming, but do not boil. Alternatively, heat in the microwave.
  2. Once hot, remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the chai tea bag and maple syrup to the cider mixture. Let steep for 4 to 5 minutes until the tea flavor is robust.
  3. Remove and discard the tea bag. Stir in the ground cinnamon until fully incorporated.
  4. If you desire, froth the chai-cider mixture using a handheld frother or whisk vigorously until slightly foamy.
  5. Pour the latte into your favorite mug.
  6. Top with whipped cream and a light dusting of fresh nutmeg, if using. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer, deeper chai flavor, you can use 1/2 cup strong brewed chai tea concentrate instead of steeping a tea bag directly in the cider mixture. Adjust sweetness based on the tartness of your apple cider.
