Ingredients

Herbal Infusion Ingredients
  • 1 Chamomile tea bag (or 1 tsp loose leaf) For relaxation.
  • 1 Ashwagandha root powder Approximately 500mg, or one standard capsule opened.
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger root, freshly grated For digestion and anti-inflammation.
  • 1/2 tsp Licorice root (or dried chips) For adrenal support (consult doctor if on blood pressure medication).
  • 1 cup Filtered Water
  • 1/2 tsp Raw Honey (optional) For taste, use sparingly.

Method

Instructions
  1. Boil 1 cup of filtered water. Ensure the water is hot but not aggressively boiling (around 200°F or 93°C) to preserve the delicate properties of the herbs.
  2. Place the chamomile tea bag, ashwagandha powder, grated ginger root, and licorice root into a large mug or a small teapot.
  3. Pour the hot water over the ingredients. Cover the mug or teapot immediately with a small saucer or lid to trap the beneficial steam and volatile oils.
  4. Allow the tea to steep for a minimum of 5 minutes, or up to 10 minutes for a stronger, more therapeutic brew. Longer steeping extracts more adaptogens.
  5. Strain the infusion through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean mug if using loose ingredients. Discard solids.
  6. If using, stir in the raw honey until dissolved. Sip slowly, focusing on deep, calming breaths, preferably in the evening or during a known stressful period.

Notes

This tea is best consumed once daily, ideally 1-2 hours before bed, as part of a broader stress-reduction and weight-management plan. Consult with a healthcare provider before adding new supplements, especially if pregnant or taking prescription medication.
