Ingredients

Fruit Dip Ingredients
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup Marshmallow Fluff (Creme)
  • 1 container (8 oz) Frozen Whipped Topping (e.g., Cool Whip) Thawed according to package directions
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar Optional, for extra sweetness
Serving Suggestions
  • 2 pounds Fresh Fruit Assortment Strawberries, grapes, pineapple chunks, melon

Method

Instructions
  1. Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to room temperature for easy mixing. If it's cold, the dip will be lumpy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer on medium speed.
  3. Add the Marshmallow Fluff (or Marshmallow Creme) and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until thoroughly combined and smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping using a rubber spatula. Use light, sweeping motions to incorporate the whipped topping without deflating its airiness. This keeps the dip light.
  5. Taste the dip. If a sweeter flavor is desired, gently fold in the powdered sugar.
  6. Transfer the fruit dip to a serving bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the consistency to firm up slightly before serving with your favorite fresh fruit.

Notes

This dip can be made a day ahead and stored covered in the refrigerator. For a festive twist, add a small amount of lemon zest or a teaspoon of instant pudding mix (any flavor) to the cream cheese base.
