- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Generously season both sides of the chicken breasts with this mixture.1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, carefully add the seasoned chicken breasts. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5-10 minutes.1 tablespoon olive oil, 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts chicken breasts
- Once rested, thinly slice or shred the chicken breasts. Slicing will give you distinct pieces, while shredding will allow the chicken to meld more seamlessly with the dressing and other fillings.
- Lay out your tortillas on a clean surface. In a medium bowl, gently toss the chopped romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, and optional lemon juice and Dijon mustard. If you're adding fresh minced garlic to your dressing or want to amp up the flavor, stir it in here.4 large whole wheat tortillas, 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce, 1/2 cup Caesar dressing, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard, 1 clove garlic
- Spoon a generous portion of the dressed lettuce mixture onto the center of each tortilla. Top the lettuce with the sliced or shredded chicken. If using, sprinkle a few croutons over the chicken for extra texture.1/4 cup croutons
- To fold the wrap, fold in the sides of the tortilla first, then tightly roll from the bottom upwards, enclosing all the delicious fillings. You can slice the wrap in half diagonally for easier handling or enjoy it whole. Serve immediately.
Notes
Store assembled wraps in an airtight container or wrap tightly. Best enjoyed within 1-2 days. For optimal freshness, consider storing dressing separately and adding just before serving.
