- Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet with the beef mixture. Stir until the cream cheese begins to melt and incorporate into the other ingredients. - Spoon the entire mixture into your slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the dip is heated through and bubbly.
- Once cooked, stir the Cheesy Slow Cooker Big Mac Dip one last time, ensuring it's smooth and creamy. Serve immediately with your favorite dippers.
Notes
Reheating in Slow Cooker: For larger amounts, you can reheat the dip gently in the slow cooker on the "warm" setting for about 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until heated through. Reheating on Stovetop: For smaller amounts or a quicker reheat, place the dip in a saucepan over low heat. Stir frequently until warmed through. You may need to add a splash of milk or cream to loosen it up if it thickens too much. Reheating in Microwave: Place a portion of the dip in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat on medium power in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until heated through. Freezing: While this dip is best enjoyed fresh, you can freeze it. Allow it to cool completely, then transfer to a freezer-safe container or heavy-duty freezer bag. It will keep in the freezer for up to 1-2 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight and then reheat as directed above. The texture may change slightly after freezing.
