- Ensure your ripe bananas are completely frozen. Slicing them into coins before freezing makes blending significantly easier and prevents your blender from struggling. This Banana Ice Cream Milkshake Nutella is best enjoyed immediately after preparation for optimal texture and flavor. If you have any leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Be aware that the texture will soften over time and may become more liquidy. Stir well before consuming. For longer storage, you can freeze leftover Banana Ice Cream Milkshake Nutella. Pour the milkshake into an ice cube tray or small freezer-safe containers. This allows you to create small, pre-portioned smoothie pops or quickly blend some frozen cubes into future milkshakes for extra thickness. Frozen mixtures can be kept for up to 1-2 months.
