Ingredients
  

Shrimp and Seasoning
  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined, tails on or off
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
Parmesan Coating
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish and mixing

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Pat the shrimp very dry with paper towels. This is crucial for crispiness.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the dry shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Arrange the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring there is some space between each piece. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  5. Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through (around 4 minutes), until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
  6. Remove the shrimp from the air fryer. Immediately toss them with the grated Parmesan cheese and half of the fresh parsley.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with the remaining fresh parsley.

Notes

Do not overcook the shrimp; they cook very fast in the air fryer. If you prefer a slightly crispier coating, you can toss the shrimp in 1 tsp of cornstarch along with the dry seasonings before adding the oil.
