Description

A refreshing, metabolism‑boosting drink made with everyday pantry staples. Tangy, slightly spicy, and ready in under five minutes—no prescriptions needed.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup warm filtered water (not boiling)
  • Juice of ½ lemon (about 1 tbsp)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated (≈1 tsp)
  • 1 tsp raw honey (or to taste)
  • Optional: ¼ tsp ground cinnamon or 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 cup of filtered water until warm (about 40–45 °C), not boiling.
  2. Peel and finely grate a 1 inch piece of fresh ginger.
  3. Roll and juice ½ lemon (about 1 tbsp juice) into a mug.
  4. Pour warm water over the lemon juice. Stir in the grated ginger and 1 tsp raw honey until dissolved.
  5. Optional: Add ¼ tsp ground cinnamon or 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar for extra flavor and health perks.
  6. Let the mixture sit for 1 minute to meld flavors, then stir again.
  7. If desired, strain through a fine mesh sieve into another mug for a smoother drink.
  8. Enjoy warm. Add extra hot water to dilute if too strong.

Notes

Grate the ginger fresh for max zing. Drink on an empty stomach for best results. Store any leftovers in a jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
