Description

A refreshing, budget-friendly detox tea infused with ginger, lemon, and green tea, customizable with spices like cayenne or mint for extra wellness benefits.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup water (filtered for best taste)
  • 1 teaspoon green tea (loose leaf or 1 tea bag)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
  • Juice of ½ fresh lemon
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 cup of filtered water until just about to boil.
  2. Add the sliced ginger to your cup or teapot, pour in the hot water, and let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the green tea (bag or loose leaf in an infuser) and steep for another 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir in lemon juice, honey (if using), and cayenne pepper.
  5. Enjoy hot or let cool and pour over ice for a refreshing cold version.

Notes

You can customize this tea with other herbs or spices such as cinnamon, mint, or turmeric for added flavor and benefits.
