Description

A soothing herbal tea made from fresh lemon balm, ginger, and cinnamon, perfect for natural weight loss and relaxation.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon balm leaves (or 1 tablespoon dried)
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • 1/2 fresh lemon (juiced)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Optional: Pinch of black pepper
  • Optional: 2-3 mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Wash fresh lemon balm leaves or measure dried leaves.
  2. Grate fresh ginger finely.
  3. Juice half a lemon, removing seeds.
  4. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of filtered water to a rolling boil with the cinnamon stick.
  5. Remove from heat and add lemon balm leaves and grated ginger.
  6. Cover and steep for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer into cups, pressing herbs gently.
  8. Stir in lemon juice and honey while warm.
  9. Add turmeric and black pepper if desired.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

Drink 30 minutes before meals for appetite suppression or in the evening to curb cravings. Use organic ingredients when possible for maximum benefits.
