Description

This Honey Vanilla Banana Bread takes classic banana bread to a whole new level with the sweetness of honey and the warmth of vanilla. It’s cozy, moist, and irresistibly flavorful—perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 very ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl until mostly smooth.
  3. Add melted butter, honey, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Slice and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter. Make sure not to overmix to keep the bread tender.
