Description

Ingredients

  • 810 oz strong brewed black coffee (freshly ground beans)
  • ½1 tsp ground cinnamon (Ceylon cinnamon preferred)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (strained, seeds removed)
  • 1 tsp raw honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp MCT oil or 1 tbsp grass-fed butter (optional)
  • Splash of vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew 8–10 oz of strong black coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, etc.).
  2. In a heatproof mug, combine cinnamon and lemon juice. Stir in honey if using.
  3. Slowly pour hot coffee over the mixture and stir well to dissolve the cinnamon.
  4. Add MCT oil or butter. Blend with an immersion blender or whisk until frothy.
  5. Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon or a lemon peel twist. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice and high-quality cinnamon for best flavor. For fasting, omit honey and fats. Avoid overheating coffee to prevent bitterness.
