- 8–10 oz strong brewed black coffee (freshly ground beans)
- ½–1 tsp ground cinnamon (Ceylon cinnamon preferred)
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (strained, seeds removed)
- 1 tsp raw honey (optional)
- 1 tsp MCT oil or 1 tbsp grass-fed butter (optional)
- Splash of vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Brew 8–10 oz of strong black coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, etc.).
- In a heatproof mug, combine cinnamon and lemon juice. Stir in honey if using.
- Slowly pour hot coffee over the mixture and stir well to dissolve the cinnamon.
- Add MCT oil or butter. Blend with an immersion blender or whisk until frothy.
- Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon or a lemon peel twist. Enjoy immediately.
Notes
Use fresh lemon juice and high-quality cinnamon for best flavor. For fasting, omit honey and fats. Avoid overheating coffee to prevent bitterness.
